3 more cards from my Christmas Stamp-a-stack

 

This used the Season of Friendship Stamp, Kraft CS, VV CS, RHR CS.  The sentiment is from to You and Yours.  The ribbon is Riding Hodd Red Taffeta ribbon (which is my favorite).  A little dazzling diamonds used.  The kraft cs was ran through the big shot using an embossing snowflake folder.  The ladies love the fact that they can use the embossing folders with our Big Shot. 

 

This is a card using Lovely as a Tree set.  The very vanilla card stock was ran through the Big Shot using the Top Note SU die cut then layered on Bravo Burgandy.  For the ribbon challenged out there - just use the ribbon punch - perfect every time.

 

Season of Joy stamp set used with kraft cardstock and real red cardstock.

K Werner's Color Inspiration # 31 . . .

Tuesday already and I haven't blogged for a few days!!  It's been so busy around here!  Today I made time to sit down and enjoy some "me" time while Chelsea took a nap :-)

I really enjoyed this week's color inspiration.  I missed making my favorite season cards - Fall!  Everyone wanted to do Halloween cards then everyone wanted Christmas.  Thanksgiving was skipped and it seems to get worse every year!  I just love Thanksgiving!

I used the resist technique using the Pumpkin Pie designer paper - stamped leaves using versamark - then embossed with clear embossing powder - then brayered over it with close to cocoa.

Workshop Projects . . .

Thanks for stopping by.  I've been so busy working on projects for 5 different events. 

The hostess wanted watercoloring and a mini scrapbook.  So, these are the projects. 

This uses the Holiday Lineup Stamp Set.  Very Cute set.  Real Red CS & Glorious Green CS was used.  The image was stamped on watercolor paper then colored in with SU's pencils then used the aqua brush.

 

The mini scrapbook uses the Country Living Kit stamps, designer paper, wisper white cs, white taffeta ribbon, snow flake chipboard, stamp sets, ink and glitter.  Awesome kit.  I love the colors.  Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Old Olive and whisper white.  I added the RHR stripped groisgrain ribbon. 

 

I'm using this as a mini scrapbook - Christmas Card (for a few of our family members).  I also ran a few pieces of scrap paper through SU's Big Shot - for the scallop circles and the tags.

We'll also be working on various ornaments.

You should try it!  It makes you create in a different way.  Sometimes you have so much to create with you don't know where to start . . . or is it just me?   So, here's a link to her site if you would like to join in on the weekly challenges.  KWerner's Site

It's a diarama card - It's hard taking a picture of this type of card - the picture doesn't do it justice.  It does look better in person.  It's ok - - - There's a lot more layers than what you can see in the picture and glitter.  I used a cuttlebug emossing folder, cuttlebug die cuts and doodlebug stamps (gasp!) :-)

I know - I don't get out my stamps that are non SU hardly ever.  I had these before I was a SU demonstrator.  I also used Peaceful Wishes SU stamp set.

I used the Big Shot for the Scalloped circles, coluzzle for the circles, ski slope Designer paper, and season of friendship Stamp Set - oh, and the Cute & Curly punch and stamp (on pic 2).

Holiday Projects . . .

I'm having fun making stuff with the Country Living Holiday Collection Stampin' Kit!  Here's a picture of a project that I made using just the stuff in the kit along with a few pieces of other card stock and acetate. There is so much you can do with this - only tonight my creativity is just not there :-) - but, I had fun and that's what counts!
